How are you hanging in there today?
Early in the morning I went out to vote. 🗳️ It was a beautiful sunny day and all felt so good and well. This gorgeous mural {pictured above} was at the school I voted. You can’t tell by the picture but the silver outline are tiny mirrors. It shines! 🤩
I took a gazillion pictures of it but those two close ups are summing up the feels I’ve been having lately:

So I want to know about you, my love.
How are you doing? Are you feeling this same way – hopeful about people coming together to build a better future?
Overall, how are you taking care of yourself today and the next few days until the election results are in?
🍃💗 More than ever compassion towards yourself is needed.
You did enough.
You researched enough.
You kept your cool when unreasonable family members and/or friends came on blatantly dismissing your plight.
You worked through and processed the feeling of being unseen and unheard as if your experience didn’t matter when they dismissed your plight.
You kept going in every moment.
You did plenty and way more than enough every single day.
And more than ever love, give yourself a break, a pause, care for yourself lots today + for the next few days knowing that regardless of the outcome, you are protected and never alone.
May you never feel alone. {Because we never are!}
May you feel heard and seen on this election results.
May you feel welcomed and loved in your own country that you helped build and grow despite its systems being quietly performing to work against you. So quietly so that some people can’t even see it and continuously deny it.
May you feel welcomed and loved in your own country that was built on so much sacrifice and unnecessary pain from your ancestors.
May you feel belonging on your own country for who you are and who you love regardless of any imposed + manipulated restrictions.
May you feel safe and welcomed always knowing that your hopes and dreams will continue to be valid as you move towards them every single day in the new country you chose to call home.
May unity come through love.
May unity stop being used as a way to dismiss people’s experience in the name of love.
{Those predictable “can’t we just get along?” comments that I see popping around the socials 😑}
May consciousness, empathy {LOTS of empathy!}, compassion and love surround us today and the days + weeks that follow.
Also, all of you peaches outside USA…. send us some love, would ya? It’s very needed right now 😁
