Happy new month, my loves!
Earlier today I asked this question in my stories {paraphrasing my own self}:
How are you feeling as we enter the last quarter of the year?
Here is what the pool showed me:

The majority feeling that tug in the belly of time slipping through the fingers with all the things still left to accomplish.
If you fall in that category, my love lemme give you some perspective.
📖 Story time first to illustrate it:
The other day, doing an usual IG scroll I saw an ad on my feed. I absolutely never click on ads. Not even by accident.
Yet on this one ad I couldn’t click fast enough.
It was a course offer and I read the entire sales page like I was devouring it.
I soaked into it. I couldn’t get enough of it.
I clicked to save it {reads: opened it in an actual browser because I was still inside instagram} and left it there.
A couple days later, I signed up for the course. As I already knew I’d do.
I only held myself from signing up in that same minute I saw the ad because I wanted to “sleep on it”, even thou knowing very well that I had already made up my mind about it.
Now very important thing to mention — I’ve never seen or heard about this person in my life! Her course ad came on my feed, I read the whole thing, click through her profile, went through some of her links just to check and that’s it. All the “research” I did about her was in that moment, and it took me a few minutes.
📌Keep that in mind as I continue the story.
So on that same day that I bought the course, I got an email from a marketing person that I really like.
In it she was saying how social media is a flaky way to build community, it is unreliable, list building is where it is at and that no one will never buy something off social media, on a whim – without knowing the creator first.
I giggled. I had *just* done that! 😄
Now, this person in particular is extremely successful with email list building and selling through that.
She has this firm conviction that email marketing is THE one and only way.
Nothing wrong with that, mind you!
I actually LOVE email marketing — it is my favorite.⭐️ It makes so much sense to me, and it matches way better my flow on how I show up online.
The point I want to highlight is that those two ladies are the perfect example of:
What we say, goes.
We are always right. Whichever we claim or believe how things work for us {good or bad}, it will.
In this case, social media works for one and doesn’t work for the other because each determined that for themselves.
👉🏼 Now, what does any of it has to do with feeling that there’s too much to do still till the end of the year?
It's about intentionally creating the rules for our own particular world.
The two ladies above are both creating rules for their own world {business specifically in this case}, following through with those rules {<< important piece here} and getting the results they expect.
One says email marketing is the only way to do it, so she goes all in, following her own rules and seeing results from it.
Meanwhile the other — who is not subscribed to that specific rule — is out there doing the complete opposite and also seen awesome results off it.
And no one is right or wrong. They are living and creating from different worlds.
Let’s keep THAT in mind, my love!
We define what it means to have a fulfilled and accomplished year.
We define how things work better for us — in biz and life.
And then once that is defined, we follow through with it >> with intention and with conviction
⭐️ Let's be intentional with the rules we create for our own particular world.
What you say goes for your last quarter, my love!
Many smooches,
