Limiting Beliefs!! 🙅🏻♀️🚫
Have you heard of them, love? If not, I’ll explain what they are quickly:
✨Our beliefs are those subconscious “truths” we hang on to that propels us to behave on this or that way.
Meaning, if we believe the only way to “learn our lessons” in life is through struggle and pain, then we will always be waiting for the other shoe to drop. And worse…. we’ll never notice how much we have learned and grown from the good experiences in our lives.
👉🏼Our beliefs define the lenses we see the world.🕶
And the LIMITING beliefs…. well, they limit us. They stop us from moving forward. They hold things up from happening, they hold US up from becoming {or going back to} who we are meant to be.
Our job is to find those limiting beliefs, shift them and watch our lives get easier, watch our behavior match the inevitability of our goals and watch our magic unfolds. ✨
Soooo….. having said all that, I’m in constant search of those darn things. As soon as I feel myself stuck on something I get to “work” and start digging in within to uncover limiting beliefs and shift them.
And here my love, I have for you my easy-compact-straight-to-the-point-and-not-messy-at-all steps to uncover my own Limiting Beliefs {LB ‘cause we are friends}:
✨step 1: wonder around clueless on what’s the current LB holding things up
✨step 2: find it but in a superficial and generalized kind of way. As in “oh yeah, sure thing, this will happen if I become this or that”
✨step 3: conclude that the generalized LB of step 2 is irrelevant to the situation at hand since it didn’t ‘feel’ ground breaking enough. “This can’t be it…. THAT simple!”
✨step 4: back to wondering around clueless on what’s the current LB holding things up
✨step 5: bump again on that same LB from before. Ignore it because me thinks it’s “complete” already
✨step 6: wonder around why, oh why still no 3D change of circumstances?
✨step 7: beat oneself up remembering that the whining of step 6 just delays everything
✨step 8: oh wait! Beating oneself up is worse! Delay x10 🤦🏻♀️
✨step 9: collapses in self-pity and confusion
✨step 10: recover and observe
✨step 11: back to the drawing board. Which LB is surrounding me right now?
✨step 12: “casually” bumps again on LB of step 2. Roll eyes as far as can go and think to oneself “didn’t we go over this concept already?” 🙄
✨step 13: follows up on the nudge regardless {because why not?} and journal, journal, journal on step 2 LB….. tap, tap, tap on step 2 LB …… feel, feel, feel step 2 LB….. and suddenly….. VIVID MEMORIES! MULTIPLE EXAMPLES! BODY CHILLS! TEARS!
✨step 14: *EXACT same message* from step 2 LB comes through – “this will happen if I become this or that”
✨step 15: “…… this….. this….. this is GROUNDBREAKING BRAND NEW information! 😳🤯
✨step 16: “oh….wait a minute…..” 🤦🏻♀️

As you can see love, I TOTALLY GOT THIS! 😆
Takes me NO time whatsoever to FIND the Limiting Belief and uncover it! Why go from Step 2 straight to Step 13 when I can go in circles and have all that fun?! 😄🤪
Now for realz love, jokes aside today’s post is to remind you that your own transformation, the unlearning of what you have been taught years back…. is a process.
As step 7, 8 and 16 points out:
👉🏼compassion to yourself and respect to your own timing and flow is crucial to your transformation.💖
Be SUPER-EXTRA compassionate with yourself always and everyday.
