I am baaack with another video!
Can ya believe that? I know, me either! π
I just got too excited with the last one and decided to keep rolling, hehe
So this one is all about cutting paper. I did this “trick” over a year ago using a WHOLEΒ ream of paper. And guess what?
Yup, the cut sheets lasted till now. I am estimating still a month or two before I completely run out of it. So love, get it done NOW and worry about it again next year.
No more excuses. I even created the template for ya! π
Here you go the short video where I explain how to use it:
If you are curious about extra deets on standard paper sizes and the relationship with the Filofax ones take a peek at my guest post on Philofaxy here.

Smooches,
Hi Raine! Loving the video work! Those sub tabs are just so clever!! π
Isn’t it genius? Hehe. π
I really love your videos and your free printables but i am currently using a pocket filofax and there is nothing i can download for it π
Hi love, so sorry about that. You are right I have nothing for pocket because I still hadn’t found a way to make it pretty and functional at the same time. The artwork barely leaves room for writing in such small pages. Just personal and A5 for now. π
Quick suggestion- Could you watermark the artwork? Make it faint behind the writing space, so that you’ve got plenty of room to make it pretty and still write?
I made a template, too. It made it a LOT easier. I hadn’t thought about taking it somewhere to be cut. That’s a great idea!
Raine – FANTASTIC video!!! So helpful!!! And I love your accent. You are fabulous!!! Love, Robyn
The links aren’t showing up for me even though I’ve tweeted and liked. Pleas help!
Hey there Julie. That might be an issue with the browser. Can you try a different one and see how it goes? π
Hi- the links aren’t showing up for me either- I tweeted the link twice.
Hey there Samantha. That might be an issue with the browser. Can you try a different one and see how it goes? π
That worked- thanks!
Thanks for sharing !!!!!! Love your videos.
Raine
Thank you so much for sharing your video with the free printable
for A-5 This will make such a difference for me. You are such a talented lady!
Hello,
I’ve tried printing this with various settings (Fit to size, Actual size, etc.) and I still can’t get the lines to get to the edge of the paper.
Any advice? Thank you.
Hey Ted, this template is to be print on “regular” sizes A4 or letter size and then cut in the lines. π
Hi Raine and thanks SO much for quickly responding. π
I did try printing on letter, but the lines (solid and dashed) don’t reach the edges. As such, when I put an A5 sheet to compare, the template’s pieces are larger. Does that make sense?
oh yeah they won’t go to the edge because the feature that does that is called “bleeding” and just professional printers do that. But that really doesn’t effect things. You just need to make sure to tick the “fit size” box to letter size.
Okay, well thanks again for your help. π
I’ve looked everywhere on this page for the downloads, especially in the box “Your printable is inside” but cannot click anywhere to get the downloads, can you help me? Thank you!
you just need to click the “like” on FB or the “tweet” button. π
hi raine!thanks for this! i hope you will also make a guideline for pocket size!=)
I looked for the facebook button but i can’t found it :S
Hi, I’d love to use your templates but unfortunately, I never, ever use Facebook or Twitter (hate them both to be honest). Is there any way round this?
YES! There is. You can sign up right here and you can get all the freebies without going through social media. π https://madmimi.com/signups/92527/join
Thank you Raine for this template. I just printed the A5 template on to letter size paper. I checked the “fit to” box and the height is still showing at 8 inches instead of 8.27…or close to it at 8.25. Was the template designed to be exactly 8 inches instead of 8.25? Thank you!
Hi Tasha, to print on letter size you need to use A4 template, not A5. π
Hey girl!
Love love your posts! However, I cannot click on the buttons to download the A5 template because a pinterest button keeps getting in the way???? Help? (insert pouty face).
hahaha Madison, thanks for letting me know. Changed some settings it should be good to go now. π
Question about A5 size can I use that in a FC classic?
