Happy Tuesday, sunshine!!
How have you been feeling on this fine day right after some major end-of-the-year celebration?
And there’s more celebrations to come!
And after that…
BAM!π₯ A brand new year right in our faces.π₯
A brand new canvas to start fresh, anew and create wherever we want in it.
Now, do you recognize this pattern?
ππΌ we indulge during this time period right before Christmas until the new year. We “let ourselves go”, wherever that might mean for you – overeating, oversleeping, over drinking, over everything.
then…
ππΌ as the year changes we go crazy trying to “catch up” on the first couple weeks of January, trying to “be good” and behave “right”.
ππΌ we can’t keep up with the “new year, new me” radical approach, so we slip once, twice, thrice and by February that steam and determination ran out and we are already feeling behind.
ππΌ we beat ourselves up, {yet again} and feel like a failure and incapable to stick with our goals…. AGAIN!
πΉ And the year just started!!!
Now love, hear me out on this one >> I beg you to go easy on yourself right now.
And here’s why:
Change happens overtime!
ππΌ It is in the small almost insignificant DAILY decisions that we solidify change and a real “new me” in our lives.
This is why I really dislike resolutions. {I wrote a post about it earlier this year.}
Because as we know — we do not become someone completely new when the calendar year change. On January 1st we’ll still be the same person we were Dec. 31st.
And because of that, pleeeeaasse my love:
LOVE UP on your Dec.31st self and love her HARD!
{Which is most likely the same person reading this email on the 27th – when I sent you the email π }
Let this current version of you REALLY enjoy this moment, this season.
Eat, drink, sleep, chill out, wherever things are going on, because you were going to do them anyway.
π Give yourself this moment, enjoy this process guilt-free!
β¨And once the new year is here with us?
πππ»ββοΈ GO VERY easy on yourself! Everyone around will be talking about making “moves” and “doing” the things. Specially if you are an entrepreneur — even more if you are a solo-preneur! That FOMO hits hard!
But you and I know that this harsh hard-core burst of productivity and “must do” won’t cut it. It will crash down and hearts and well-meaning intentions will be broken.
πGently and softly goes well, my love, really well!
Accepting who you are right now, loving up on yourself and knowing that your transformation is a process not a deadline is crucial!
π We are here for the long run and every moment we live feeling good about ourselves and our experiences is what counts.
π₯Cheers to an easy, fun, guilt-free transition into the new year!β¨
