Ok my dear commitment aversion people….
I have a sincere from the bottom-of-my-heart love note for you:
I hear you on the reluctancy in committing with the tiniest thing ever. Even the things that supposedly you’d have no problem committing to — like a date or trip.
🔥Now there comes a time when that ‘lil weird phobia is thrown out of the window or doesn’t even cross your mind, ya?
For me that was going to the my favorite opera – Carmen!💃🏻 – a few days ago.
Not only I had already said a big YES inside of me when I saw the announcement that they were coming, but I already knew it was a blind YES to *any* date they’d have available, *any* time they specify AND to *any* price tag a real good seat would have attached to it. I bought my ticket just like that without any hesitation.
As the weeks went by, I couldn’t WAIT to get in there. So much so that I almost memorized my schedule for that week as I kept “knocking off” the days + tasks in my head to get closer and closer to the day.
Can you relate? Do you have that one or a few things where commitment is not an issue at all — eagerness and excitement takes over?
Now, lemme ask you this as a fellow commitment phobe to another:
>> are you afraid of commitment itself or just reluctant to commit to the things that don’t resonate deeply? And if that is a constant in your life {the fear of commitment}, how much are you truly doing the things that light you up throughout your days?
That commitment fear is just an indicator of a different direction you want to go. 🛣
The answer is always there within.
{💎The jewels we find inside ourselves when we stop fighting it!}
Dig in deep, love!
You so deserve to let yourself off the hook and find the things that truly light you up that are easy to commit to : the ones you will have no problem saying ‘yes’ in a heart beat.
They are there, just waiting to be acknowledged.
Smooches,
