Hello,hello!
Happy saturday everyone!
Last night I decide to practice some face expressions and thought that would a great way to get the 29faces rolling as well.
A few years ago I was working at a non-profit that helped people with their communication skills. Conflict resolution was their main focus. They had a magnet with around 15/20 face expressions to give away to people. There was a frame – also magnetic – that you would place around your mood for the day. It always intrigued me how most of the faces were negative expressions. Like anger, frustration, etc. I would always think “so, are they assuming people are mostly in a bad mood? Just a few days of the week they are feeling good?”
So for this little project I searched online for “mood faces” to get me going and funny thing is that it didn’t bring many happy faces either. This got me thinking that maybe the bad mood faces are easier to represent? Joy, happy, excitement, would they all be too similar to illustrate?
Anywho, I did some very basic moods for today, but I may try to adventure into making only happy ones and see how it goes.
Enough talking let’s look at the faces, shall we?
